1 cup sugar
1 cup water
1/4 cup contemporary basil leaves
1 bottle (750 ml) dry white wine
2 cups frozen watermelon items, bite-sized
1 cup watermelon seltzer OR 1 cup watermelon juice + 1 cup plain seltzer
Directions
1. Make the basil-infused easy syrup: In a small saucepan, mix the water and sugar. Cook dinner, whereas stirring, over medium warmth till the sugar is dissolved. Add the basil leaves. Take away from warmth and canopy the saucepan. Steep the basil within the syrup for 2 hours. Take away the leaves and pour the syrup right into a small jar. Refrigerate.
